Don't rely on ratings they are the equivalent of stars in hattrick.

Instead I try and look more at battrick ratings and wages.

Basicall, his spinners did better than mine.

I really can't work out what to do with this guy, as he just doesn't seem to take wickets.

I know his stamina is low, but I would still expect him to take wickets, just get tonked a bit more as the overs go on.

How expensive is he runs er over? He is only a cautious bowler so I wouldn't expect him to be a wicket taker more someone to tie up one run. How does he do on a dusty pitch?

Goes at about 4 RPO, which is fine, but I would expect him to take more wickets against poorer batsmen than he does. I've decided to try him on attacking for the next couple of games and see what happens, can't really do much else.

He's one of my better bowlers, so I've been trying to put him against better batsmen, hence him bowling at 3, suppose I could try him at 5 and give him the last 10 overs.

Bowling him at 5 will mean he is paired up with your 2 best(opening) pace powlers. So why they whilst the wickets tumble one end he can keep it tight the other. bear in mind though that if you play him attacking he will go for more runs as he is not playing his 'natural game'. I'd play him as 'normal' as Bowler 5 and he will take wickets as batsman try and slog against him.

What is the balance of the attack? 4 fast / 1 spinner etc?

It's 1 F, 1 M, then normally 2 spinners, and 1 FM.

I'm going to give him a try at 5, on Normal and see what happens. If he's still carp, I'll be looking for offers (Kev ??)
