Muse are the best thing to come out of this country for years, a real quality, original act and can write a guitar riff as heavy as Jeff Capes.

Roni Size, meh.

Come on lads - Who the **** are muse.

Roni Size & Reprazent changed an entire genre with the release of there album New Forms. The song Brown Paper Bag http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b4n0iUtWEwY became a classic.

They won the Mercury Prize in 1997 and brought Drum and Base to a nation. They won the award despite having any sort of investment behind them or there label.

My personal favourite track is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIusL8p6qZI Dirty Beats

He is also English and I know a lot of you lads like that.

Saw muse in 1997 in Exeter in a battle of the bands. They were amazing. As for Roni Size, who the hell is that?!

Roni Size explored a wholly new musical landscape with New Forms - a visceral, exciting, raw and almost transcendent evolution of acid house, jazz and dance. It was a truly groundbreaking album, one that deserves to be replayed and revisited for decades.

Muse are just Radiohead-lite, aren't they?

What new ground have they ever broken? They're OK - but they've not earned a place in the pantheon of musical geniuses that Roni Size and Reprazent inhabit.

Roni all the way.

:)

Slight overstatement comparing a broken drum machine to Beethoven and Mozart there Matthew.

Shows how little you know about Reprazent. They don't need drum machines - I've seen a video of a studio session of Brown Paper Bag in which the drum line is laid down by a guy on a kit. "Visceral" doesn't do it justice... it's phenomenal, gripping, amazing, even uplifting.

I'd debate that Roni Size can be classed as a band....

Roni Size is the artist who fronts Reprazent - They are as follows..

Roni Size - programming/production
DJ Die - programming/production
DJ Suv - programming/production
Krust - programming/production
Onallee - vocals
Dynamite MC - vocals
Si John - electric bass/double bass
Rob Merrill - drums

I would like to see all the old *******s on this board barred from voting in this one as I doubt any of them have heard of Roni Size.
