Totally agree - below is the plan of the site from the previous planning application which is I assume all going over to COSU/POSU:

The most obvious vacant site to me is on Victoria Avenue between the Golden Lion and the abandoned house next to the club shop. I wonder what their plans are for this area? Could put a marquee in here for a fanzone if the site were cleared and a hardstanding put down.

There's also the question of the abandoned house itself. Surely they must be thinking of plans for this area, it's got development potential as has the area down the bottom of Roots Hall Avenue (which the previous planning application had 3 houses on).

Is the house the area that's owned by the council. Many months ago they agreed to enter negotiations to sell it to POSU? Might be the delay if we don't own the area that they want to use.
