From what I know of Kimura Capital, which isn't much, but I have seen pitch books from them, theyre not hedge fund managers.
They into supply chain financing - very much not hedge funds.
Maybe there's a different division doing other hedge fund stuff - like the eSports - but as far as I know not Kimura capital
nt to sound rude let me know what you older brothers name was .You probably went with my older brothers then
Question if Ron is deep in talks with this group What is the agents he is paying for doing in this deal .Are they dealing with the sale Or is ron going it alone .
Ron has had to reduce the stadium capacity from 21k to 16k due to financial constraints. That tells me the stadium is being financed at the profit margin on the whole development. The money available for building the stadium is ultimately linked to the price of housing. That's a big risk in the current interest rate environment. That doesn't fill me with much confidence. I don't have much faith Ron will be able to see it through.
Much as I resent Wrexham's success when we are struggling, their model has opened the door for clubs like ours to be more attractive to investors with the possibility of celebrity involvement. It also makes it easier for me to explain who I support to Amercians who only know 5 English teams. 'You know Wrexham? We finished 8th in that league.'As has been said on here many times - it's the hope that kills you. Therefore trying not to get too excited, but it's difficult. Really hope that the players who might think about leaving will not want to miss out on what could be an amazing opportunity- even bigger crowds, being paid and a story similar to Wrexham.
I could have sworn that Wrexham is in Wales.Much as I resent Wrexham's success when we are struggling, their model has opened the door for clubs like ours to be more attractive to investors with the possibility of celebrity involvement. I might be alone but there is a small part of me that can't get excited. Obviously the saviour of our club is no 1 above all else but the mention of a Wet Spam supporter being involved and all the different opinions on this supposed consortium and how they made their money stops me jumping up and down with joy.
Let's hope all anybody buying SUFC is interested in is the wellbeing and future of our fantastic club and not looking over their shoulder at other teams results or how they can use us to fund some other diverse project
UTB
yeah I'd add to that - how many of our players, mgmt team etc support Southend. Stan would probably say he's Villa first.Winstone is a tiny part of the larger company in talks to take over.
I'm sure if you had a dig around and looked into your:Favourite musicians, Favourite flim stars, Favourite TV stars , Favourite authors ,Your friends at work etc, you'd find you disagree with them on some level be it politically, socially etc
Don't get hung up on the football team one person in the chain supports.
Does the fact the person who reads out the names at roots Hall is a West ham fan make any difference to your support of the club?
Life is short and something nice might be about to happen to our little club.
Let the light in.
*West Ham are a bunch of no mark ****houses though*
He undoubtedly would. He still has a lot of fondness for Forest too, but he does a great job for us.yeah I'd add to that - how many of our players, mgmt team etc support Southend. Stan would probably say he's Villa first.
