My point is the club don't communicate with the fans in a clear and effective manner but neither do the Shrimpers Trust.

As for selling stuff on eBay the club is going down the toilet and this appears to be the last roll of the dice. Incidentally, they'll only be able to sell 10 items/£650 of stuff in the first month anyway as a new account, so that's not going to pay the tax bill is it?

All the more comical if you ask me

At least the money will go towards paying the fine for filling our accounts late ....

Everything on there is on an auction which can be sold for whatever the highest bidder chooses to bid on it.

I'm not sure why you're airing your grievances with the club and the Shrimpers Trust with me.

I think you need these,

I peronally wouldnt trust an ebay user with zero (0) feedback...........................very untrustworthy

I don't get why we've made a new account. We've auctioned shirts in the past, the one off purple and the poppy shirts so they must have had an account already with some feedback.

The previous eBay account was probably set up by someone now not working for the club. It would be to inefficient to retain the details centrally wouldn't it.

Fine, sue me for Libel (I assume that's what you mean).

I don't live in Southend and therefore hadn't previously heard of them. I know communication isn't a top priority for SUFC and I'm just waiting for the Echo to be banned from the ground again so that I can hear even less (I do at least subscribe to the iPad edition of the Echo).

When I went to Wembley, I was dragged to the Green Man pub. Frankly, a number of the people at the pub that day made me ashamed to be a supporter. The drunken antics of TRUEBLUE in particular -there is a line between supporting your club and being a drunken idiot.

Personally, apart from SUFC I couldn't care less about football, so perhaps I should return my Shrimpers Trust membership card and forget about this club once and for all.

Was you ashamed oh bless my heart bleeds for you shame you was in the minority

There's a line between communicating on a forum and being a pedantic ****

Why do people moan about this - the club earn some pennies and the fans get the opportunity to purchase some cracking memorobilia from our first ever cup final @ Wembley stadium.

Seems a win/win scenario to me. I swear, some people on this forum just love moaning about anything and everything

I've been looking at these items - it seems our entire squad is illiterate - can anyone actually identify any of the "autographs" in the pictures.

Only just read this thread from the start and think this is a little harsh.

So you was ashamed of a group of fans who enjoy a good drink on there travels and caused no harm to anyone and created an atmos at the pub?

What was you doing reading a book drinking a J20 in your blue tank top ?

officialsufc - only stuff from the JPT final.

When I log on from the US to EBay.com, it shows that there is zero for sale, which I assume means they are not willing to post overseas.

That's a shame for myself and other ex Pat Shrimpers who can't nip down the Club Shop.

Seems like a sensible idea to me. The club needs money, and fans like memorabilia. Good way of clearing out old tat too, surprised more clubs don't do this kind of thing. The Eastwood shirt's reached £137 already. Every little helps and all that...

Don't have a problem with it at all, I think some people just like to sneer at anything the club do these days.

I think it is a very good idea ---- next you will be moaning when the club sell off bits of Roots Hall when FF is built.

There is good money in selling memorabilia and recycling bits.

It's all part of SUFC's rich history, support it.
