Now up to 248! First this eve to sign up was Mario Walsh, then in quick succession (after a lot of tracing effort) Micky Stead and Steve Yates.
The latter two now mean we have ALL 12 of the '79 team v Liverpool in SUEPA - how cool is that?

Ooh, we are up to 250 members, actually we've gone beyond that, now 252

The latest recruits:
- Bobby King ('60's player and focus of our recent campaign)
- Paul Roberts (1980's team of drink)
- Dean Holness (movie star)
- Paul Vickery (Tony Currie aside, perhaps our briefest ever pitch appearance)

Our family is a diverse and ever-growing one.

SUEPA NEWSLETTERS TO NOW BE ISSUED TO ALL SHRIMPERS TRUST MEMBERS: to date we have issued a SUEPA newsletter, approximately quarterly, to all SUEPA ex-player/coaching staff members. This has been really well received and a few others who have also seen it have asked whether it can be shared more widely, so we will! With effect from the next newsletter we will now also send it by email to all Shrimpers Trust members. A few sample pages of the last newsletter are attached - it covers all SUEPA issues including new joiners, SUEPA guest days, special events that have happened, features with former players, etc. So, if you are not yet a member of the Shrimpers Trust why not join now? I know some of you like to be reminded of who is in SUEPA from time to time. We are now up to 257 members (net of the four who have sadly joined and since passed away), with 28 keepers, 68 defenders, 90 midfielders, 64 strikers and 7 coaching/backroom staff.

Yes, we know that for one or two on the list it could be argued that they played in a different role, but we'll go with our classification unless you see any galring errors (eg Tes Bramble as manager etc).

As often mentioned, if you have any leads for ex Shrimpers not currently in SUEPA please let me know
