Agreed and all the talk of getting them in early being critical is wide of the mark IMO. We got keepers in on loan twice last season and they came in and hit the ground running. At the end of the day the understanding between back 4 and keeper is important but there is always going to be patterns of play where every keeper should do the same thing. Add in getting a keeper who is vocal and organises his defence then you should get through the first few games where moments of uncertainty could arise.
