Stupid phrases or expressions

If you want quality phrases, look no further than one Barry Harris. The boy has come out with the following gems:-

"The bucket stops here"

"It's a catch 2 situation"

"From pillow to post"

"There all country pumpkins"

" She was all over me like a lead balloon"

and there are so many more.

'That will put the cat amongst the penquins'
'You were a ugly duckling at school but grew into a beautiful goose'

Keep em coming Greg.

Will do mate. All the best to the family.

When all's said and done at the end of the day you know what I mean, innit.

I admit though I do have to stop myself saying phrases sometimes they are just too easy to slip into!

'Lovey'

'Nah, mate'

'It's all good'

'Mingin''

'Blingin''

There's a football manager who has a habit of saying "like I say" to start every other sentence.

Can't remember his name.

And I really hate it when people use the word "not"... in what is supposed to be a funny turn of phrase, like "I really like watching Col ewe... not!"
