Where's the option of sign someone else............

A partnership of Revell and Walker or Revell and Furlong does not exactly wow me with excitement. Infact I would actually prefer to see Ademeno get a run out up top. He'd probably carry more of a threat than Walker anyway.

Walker and Revell upfront. Ademeno on the bench and will come on.

Although I do think that Barrett will cause the most problems if he was up front. His passion and desire will lift us massively. But we need him from the back not the front.. Shame there isn't 'two' Adam Barretts!

Izzy McLeod is available on loan - I'd be tempted to look at getting him in for a month, give Dougie and Barney a real chance to get over their injury problems. From what I saw in the ressys the other day, I'd stick Furlong on with either Walker or Scannell to come on after an hour - and on current form, I'd say Scannell.

Excellent shout that! I think that would be a very smart move, although I would like to see Ademeno given a run out. But we all know Walker is going to get the nod just hope he proves himself.

It's got to be Walker. Like I said in a previous thread, I think it's really sad that some are writing him off already. He was great alongside Barney last season - he just needs a goal or two to get going.

James Walker, he has the pace to cause anyone problem's, he needs games & confidence. Furlong & Ademeno on the bench. Got to play our strongest side, undestimating a smaller side is dangerous, just ask Man Utd.

UUUMMMMMMMMMM!!!..............................Perhaps you need to jig around the poll a bit......something rather like 'Who will play with who up front?' According to the OS Revs is doubtful for Tuesday night, he's got a probem with his calf. I think it's fair to say that we have a problem with our forward line. Who was it that was ranting on about us having too many strikers a few months ago?

I do wonder if I watch the same Walker as some people some weeks, because he's never shown this blistering pace people talk about when I've seen him. Yeah he's probably quicker than our other strikers, but that really isn't saying much.

If Revell is out then it means our reserve strike force from last week will be playing and from those who were at the reserve game, they were awful individually and together. Good times.

If Rev is indeed out I'd be tempted to stick Franno up front and Sankofa at RB rather than what I saw in the reserves!

Unfortunately, only those players who were elligible to play for us at the time of the first match are allowed to play in the replay.

On that basis, I'd go with Walker (who I don't rate at League One level) with one or other ressies/youths on the bench.

Walker & Furlong up top tomorrow ...

No Barney. No Dooooogie. No Laurent. Revs rather unlikely.

The question is: Should i bother getting a ticket, or, just stay in the pub/at home?!

:clap::unsure:

When does Laurent's suspension start?

The glimpses I've seen of Ademano, I've been quite impressed and he could be the new James Lawson. I certainly hope he's at least on the bench as I thought he did as well as anyone on the left-hand side against Millwall(?).

My only concern about Walker is his confidence. he looked fairly sharp at Telford, so I'd probably go with him to partner Revell.

If Revell is out, Furlong is the natural replacement. Basically we've got plenty of options, particularly as Barnard and Freedman will be back soon.

I certainly wouldn't be picking a youth team player, particularly for a game as important as Telford.

I'm desperate for us to win this game cos i'm next back at home when it's the 2nd round games and I really want to see the boys!

Fine, be like that! ****ing mods! ;)

Dont hold your breathe Jonny! These two were both awful last week in the reserves and i think Tilly showed un-impressed he was by it by naming NEITHER of them on the bench for Saturday, but he hardly has much choice now! God knows how we are going to name 7 subs! Lets hope some of the Yoofs are fit and raring to go!

Kev

Ah yes, 7 subs...............

What are we thinking then? :

Mildenhall

Francis
Clarke
Barrett
Herd

Betsy
McCormack
Christophe
Scannell

Walker
Furlong

Subs: Joyce, O'Keefe, Grant, Sankofa, Ademeno, Hazell, Calver

I'd say thats about right. Peggy might get on the bench ahead of Calver?!

Only other thing they might do is stick Betty up top and put Grant on the wing with either Walker or Furlong drop to the bench?!

Kev

Ah I don't know, Tilly is not a fan of Peggy at all, so I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't make it on to the bench.

I'd be pretty disappointed in Tilly if he played a defensive central midfielder on the wing at home to a part time team to be honest. Then again, it wouldn't surprise me either.
