we lack height, pace, experience, a prolific goalscorer and cover in defence.

I hope to see Adam Barrett take over the left-back position and make it his own.Strong,willing and capable.Only if we sign two decent centre-backs as i see Clarkey as a fixture in the middle.I think Francis sees himself as a bit more of a senior player now and as he had some good games in the Chumpionship i believe he will carry that confidence into L1.He just needs to think as a defender more and do a lot more covering of others when the game is stretched.

I'm hoping our midfield will be a bit more mobile now,i believe we will enjoy much possession and i crave to see midfielders overlap into strikers areas and make themselves hard to pick up.It's all about the movement really,something that the Goat had in abundance,the ability of knowing where to drag around defenders and leave holes for midfielders to run into.

Say what you want about Harrold but he's not bad in the air and neither alledgedly is Paynter. With Hammel's set piece delivery i am hoping to score more goals from set plays this year.

the other thing about hammell was that it was interesting that he was captain against wakering, obviously there was no clarke, barrett or gower there but i thought it was strange that he got the nod over flavs, bradbury and macca
