Streaming - DAZN

Hello all.

Well, the big day dawns and hopefully it is the first of four big days, with the match against Gateshead being the play off qualifier. Fair play to all of the travelling Shrimpers fans who have gone up to Gateshead, and those watching the match on the big screen at the Hall, or in pubs. I am watching with a couple of friends from the comfort of my own home.

I have watched previous away games on DAZN on a match by match basis, which earlier in the season was £9.99, and now has gone up to £14.99. Last month, I signed up for a month and immediately cancelled, but I got to see the Eastleigh, Boston United and Ebbsfleet matches live (2 out of 3 were not bad, eh?), and the Sutton United match, about an hour after it finished, as it was a 3 pm kickoff. I even got to endure a re-run of the Braintree home match, although I have a season ticket, and knew what happened!!

But I have delayed renewing the DAZN subscription, as I wanted to see what options were available today. I am glad I did, as I was able to subscribe for a month, for the cut-price of £9.99 (50% discount), and immediately cancelled, so I can watch for 31 days, before it ends. That takes us up to 05/06/25, and would include today, the two play off eliminator rounds and the final (though I would attend that in person). Hope that saves a few people some pounds.

Up the Blues!!!

Ah Mad Cyril, you beat me to it. That will teach me to write slightly shorter messages!!

On a personal note, did your mum used to work for Southend Council by any chance?

Right. I've just done the £9.99 thing. How do I cancel?

Edit: done, or at least it's being processed. I'll need to keep that screenshot just in case it screws up and Amex need proof I cancelled!

Just go to manage your subscription and cancel.

This a great deal. It would have been £15 just for the Gateshead game and if we progress it will be really tough to get away tickets so you are potentially looking at three games for a tenner.

Agreed, especially as the matches are midweek and away. I can't go even if I could get tickets.

Considering that DAZN have increased the stream from £9.99 to £14.99 on the premise that they are Improving there service is really taking the P.
Today's stream is appalling
