Streaming - DAZN

Received an email offering 50% off an annual subscription for DAZN/NLTV - 12 months for £94.99. Offer expires on 30 April - not much use for the fans of teams in play-offs, they might not be in the NL next season so unlikely to want to commit to a subscription that early

I've not received the email yet but a non Shrimper friend of mine has.

I'll know our fate by the 30th. If we will have another season in the NL then its a great price.

Are you sure it’s definitely an NLTV subscription mate and not just a DAZN one?

NLTV subs are separate to DAZN, so even with a monthly/annual subscription for DAZN you will still need to pay extra for NLTV.

I found that out the hard way this morning 😂 Decided to sign up to their annual membership (on a monthly basis) before discovering everything I actually want to watch is still at an additional charge. This despite DAZN claiming you can watch every live event on their service under the annual membership.

Thankfully after kicking up a fuss I have been refunded and rightly so. I believe their website is misleading and deliberately ambiguous.

Before I finally got them to agree to a refund I was told that there was some great content coming up which I wouldn’t be able to access if I pursued a refund…. Including something called salt papi, whatever that is.

Email was from the club - it was emblazoned with nltv and dazn logos - so reasonably sure it's for just the football - probs won't include boxing and the other stuff they do

Just supposing we get into the Play-Offs, does anyone have any inkling if DAZN will be streaming the games?

Unless you think (like me) that we won't regain our EFL status via the play offs this season .:Winking:

Just wanna be sure so i can plan my approach to my better half re why I'll be spending bank holiday Monday afternoon inside biting my finger nails - is the Gateshead game definitely being shown in UK?
Not sure as i had thought 3pm kick offs not shown, but as it's a Monday?

I'm currently in Madeira and trying to buy a DAZN weekly pass to watch the Gateshead game on Monday. When I hit the button to buy it's saying that the content isn't available in the current location. As Madeira is part of Portugal, I would have thought it would be available. Anyone any ideas please?

Not that it affects us with our game being played on Monday but I'm curious to see that the entire EFL league one and two program of matches are all available to watch/stream on Sky today at 3pm. It's not an international break or anything so how come the 3pm blackout is waived. Is it because Sky says it is or is it to do with the alignment of the planets or similar! Not bothered about watching the games today but this rule is such an aggravation for those of us who no longer travel to away games that I'm keen to understand the purpose of it.
Any ideas?

Can I pay the first month of a monthly flex, which will get me the whole of the playoffs, and then cancel?

If that works I get all the playoffs for £19.99. How much notice do I need to give to not have to pay a 2nd month?

Should be able to - I did it at begin of April. I just cancelled pretty much straight away, but still got the whole month, so not sure of the last date you can cancel to avoid the 2nd month

I did it and cancelled the next day, no problem.

I did it and cancelled straight after the payment. Done that twice now without any problems.

Just be careful not to sign up in a rush like I did a month or so back. Thought I’d signed up to the month to month. When in an actual fact I’ve signed up the for annual but billed monthly 🤦‍♂️
