Looks like their going to be under 18000 for Burton vs Fleetwood as Burton only sold 7000 tickets as of yesterday can't find nothing on Fleetwood ticket sales wouldn't think it's much more than Burton tho

Fleetwood have reportedly sold 5,000 tickets.

As I said last week, the Wembley outlets will be crying on Monday, we'd have taken double that combined figure on our own!!!

I'm confused. What have the posts on this page got to do with 'Strangely happy'?

Not true. We had two bad runs.

The first early on when we took just 11 points from 11 games (3 wins, 6 defeats); a point a game is relegation.

Then the second when we took 8 points from that 12 match winless run; "relegation by March" form.

So that "one bad run" actually comprised exactly half the season.

The other half yielded an impressive 53 points which is clearly runaway champions' form.

Consistency needed.

This. Whilst we played some nicer football than the previous season, there were periods when we looked absolute pony. More consistency across the whole season required; I think this may come with a more potent attack.

if Burton and Fleetwood can only muster 18000 between them , i think thats pathetic and just shows they are clubs that will disappear when there playboy owners start to run short of funds.Absolutely pathetic !

A little happier this morning! Seeing the excrutiating pain and disappointment that Derby and Athletico fans must have gone through yesterday, perhaps not getting to the Final wasn't such a bad thing. Automatics please Phil, next season.

Yes. Consistency and tenacity to get draws when we should have lost and to snatch 3 points when we don't deserve it. Do that in a few more games and it could prove to be the difference required.

And I know there is focus on our strike force but we mustn't lose sight of the benefit of keeping clean sheets.

I wish all their supporters luck. They will be as excited as we were at going to Wembley or a play-off final.

Surely rather more so? I and I would imagine many, who attended the JPT Final at Wembley last year, went for the spectacle rather than the glory. Given the choice between a Final for a Paint Trophy or a promotion trophy, which would you choose?

I just find it odd that supporters of clubs that have a smaller attendance are seen (by some) as not being "proper" football fans. The strength of the English pyramid is because of people turning out week in, week out to watch Braintree, Burton or Birmingham City.

No matter what the league or the size of the attendance, it is the fact that people bother to put the effort in that should be celebrated. It's a shame the Football Association and the Football League don't appreciate that either.

Strong rumours from those who would know the truth.

He was supposedly on £2,500 from the club and another £2,500 from Gary Lockett per week (From back when GL was working for the club)

That is way way out, he was on about £1700 a week.

I admit I don't know, but I would suggest those figures are utter bollocks! Why would Gary Lockett pay him anything direct from his personal funds? I wish I could remember more but I am pretty certain that I have been told categorically that no player was on more than £1.5k - of our own I mean, don't know about loanees.

Very much so.

£5k a week for a league two player. No chance.
