Steve Collis

Poor management IMO, sends out all of the wrong messages for those fighting for places.

Collis is a good professional, he has trained hard and been patient waiting for his opportunity, when it did come along he played well and saved a penalty, hence boosting his confidence and keeping Darryl on his toes.

But what does Tilly go and do? he totally goes against what he has said in the past, and drops Collis for the next game.

Collis must be wondering what he has to do to earn a start in the first XI.

Surely by selecting Collis it would have made the entire squad think, "If I play well I will keep my place".

Superb point!

Collis should have started plain and simple.

If you give someone a chance and they do well then you stick with them. Darryl would have to understand and Collis then has the chance to see his last year has not been a total waste.

Joke really.....Easy to say in retrospect.

not blaming darryl for everthing but surely tilly has to look at the facts and change things, darryl has not kept a clean sheet since we beat Burnley at home last season and if i remember rightly they hit the bar twice so lady luck was with flavs that night!!!
