The problem now is this is so polarised. Many who just simply hate Ron and want him out (and not saying you, I am talking generally and not in any way aimed personally) run everything through a filter that says absolutely everything he says and does must be wrong and must be criticised. A critique of the entire call is presented accordingly with no balance whatsoever. That's fine also. Trouble is whilst it might feel good to share and vent, most will watch the call and know actually the truth is in between (hence numerous other posts) and we actually have a mixture of the very bad, bad, some good and everything in between.
Some of the positive stuff we are extremely reluctant to acknowledge almost as if it weakens the overriding goal of getting rid of Ron/ is kind of showing a weakness of resolve. So things like Tom's estimate based on his experience at a previous club of generating such revenue from a stadium, including similar facilities and services offered all be it on a smaller scale, is almost unwelcome.
But I suspect it is accurate. Some research is probably called for and I am sure I heard Ron ask Tom to do some forecasts- I am sure that action will be clearly mentioned in the minutes. Now we are minuting action points it would be a glaring oversight..
Ron would have been well served to get this type of level of detail out there to present the positives of the new stadium to the supporters. Not doing so is I am afraid another own goal on his part. Regrettably. He is without doubt his own worst enemy.
