At the moment i think it should be like this:

Should get a win with that line-up but it might not work that well. And maybe swap mohsni with phillips. I dont think mohsni is a striker in my opinion.

But once all the players are back from injury and get to full fitness we should return to 4-4-2 unless we rip hereford to shreds with that formation.

Once Dickinson and Corr are fit no need for Bilel up front- untilk then I think he will get used their. Think the impressive (in my view) return of Phillips has made that an easier option.

Replace Ferdinand with Sawyer (with Kalala holding) and that will probably be the line up. I can't see any way that Kane will start as he's taken no part whatsoever in pre-season and in any case has only had a few substitute apperances for Ireland this summer. He's probably not at the required fitness.

P.S. If we go 4-4-2 I expect Grant and Kalala in midfield with Phillips alongside Barker and Mohsni up top with Harris.

Am I the only one to be a little concerned about the level of euphoria on here at the moment? I certainly have a degree of confidence as we enter the new season but my enthusiasm is tempered with a bit of realism and a lifetime's adhesion to the school of hard knocks, as far as Southend United is concerned.
