Stadium MK

To be fair the home fans behind the goal made some noise but because the ground was so vast and empty, it didn't sound very loud. When they werent singing you could hear the players shouting, which is always a bad sign. As someone mentioned, there were no home fans near the away end which doesn't help the atmosphere. Sitting in the away end it felt like we were cut off from the rest of the ground. They need to build a pub near the ground too.

I was sat near the home fans (blagged a seat in a glorified portakabin box) in the opposite corner from the Southend fans and from what I could hear they made a fair bit of noise. It was always going to get lost in all that space though.

i remarked to my mate that it had the feel of a reserve game about it .. good turnout btw .. i guessed at 6-700, so online with my efforts in this seasons Prediction League :tumbleweed:

Just a thought really.

Having spent a freezing afternoon at the superbly named Stadium MK I was somewhat surprised to see the crowd announced at just over 10k. The place was half empty and the atmosphere was more akin to a funeral.

Given that MKD are 2nd in the league, it is likely that 10k is pretty much all they can expect so can look forward to playing out life surrounded by empty seats and in silence.

I also read a post on here that Colchester are averaging 1300 less per game than they had accounted for.

Food for thought as we consider our move to FF?

Well you clearly have not gone go to Roots Hall match days.... with home sections 80pct sold out the place is like a morgue.... just give us a chance to have over 1000 singers behind one goal then we can see how noisy we can be...... In my eyes the new ground cannot come fast enough

And well done to 1144 fans who travelled yesterday my heart goes out to u lot
