Sports Personality of the Year

Who do you all think will win this tonight? Even though he lost, I hope Hatton wins this but I think the arogant prick Hamilton will win.

you've gone seriously down in my estimation... why on earth is hamilton an "arrogant prick"? In every article, interview and comment about him he comes across as humble, shy and extremely thankful for the support and opportunity he has had.

personally i want tozeland to win, twice world champion. i reckon lewis hamilton will win the F1 championship soon and that is the time to celebrate both this season and his future success

Pubey your a legend for saying Toseland, so underestimated and a seriously talented rider (motogp watch out). I also agree with Hamilton, he seems a model driver who has time and a smile for everyone and anyone, very humble and with tremendous talent to boot!

Come on thats a little unfair, its his first season in F1 and by everyones standards done amazingly well to relegate a 2 times world champion and the closest guy to schumacher(Alonso) down to 3rd place

oh and also if hatton had won last night then i would have wanted him, but i feel now calzaghe is probably more deserving after becoming undisputed world champ. im not a great fan of people winning SP when they haven't even won anything (in that year), especially after damon hill got it when he came 2nd and people thought that was as good as he would do.

I hope not. Choke artist.

How could he win it when he had the Championship within touching distance and bottled it.

But, to be fair, he did get himself in to that position in the first place in his debut season in F1.

That said, I feel he would be held in higher regard had he lost a few races at the start of the season rather than end. Then, I suppose, he would hvave been brave.

Did you see when he presented an award to Clarkson afew moths ago? All he did was was make the whole thing uncomfortable by bringing up afew remarks that Clarkson had said about him. Christ it was only a joke and this was not the right time and place to confront. He moves to Switzerland because he says he is ****ed off with people annoying him all the time, coming upto him for autographs and photos. Doesnt sound thankful for the support to me.

He will win it but like I say, I'd like to see Hatton win or even Calzaghe.

Mclaren ****ed it up in the last but one race, he took an unecessary risk in the last race and then he had an engine problem I hardly think he bottled it!

Hamilton deserves it, he's had an incredible year as a young debutee.

Someone who should've got into the top ten but was completely ignored by the BBC is Andy Priaulx. Who I hear some of you cry. He's won the World Touring Car Championship title for 3 years on the spin and won the European Touring Car title the year before that. An incredible achievement in world sport that goes completely unnoticed in this country.
