Southend's next manager?

It wouldn't be Brush, as he would leave with Tilson, and he has said to people i'm very close to he'll never manage again after his spell with Orient. Tilly will be here a while longer i'm sure, but when the time comes i think we'd go for a young recently retired player, having their first go in management. Not neccessarily ex-SUFC but Maher and Freedman would certainly be good candidates.

A shortlist of former players...
-Chris Powell
-Stan Collymore
-Dougie Freedman
-Martin Ling
-Mark Stimson
-Kevin Maher

plus John Still of D&R.

personally my bet would be on Ling + Dougie or Kev

Taking his lead from Britains got Talent Ron Martin will utilise technology to make the managers role as we know it a thing of the past.

The interactive seats in the new stadium will enable Ron to tap into 'the wisdom of crowds' to make inspired substitutions and tactical changes.

SMS/internet technology would be utilised to enable fans to identify transfer target between games/during close season and once voting had closed Ron Martin would simply fly to Rotherham, Crewe, Milan or Madrid with a briefcase full of cash to close the deal.

Brush will go with Tilson. I think this will be T & B's last season at RH.

A replacement? Somebody cheap. Pinocchio would be ideal as RM just wants a yes man & a puppet!

Brush will not go with Tilson should the situation ever arise because RM has had it written into their contracts that they can't both leave within 6 months of eachother, and go to the same club.

Well done RM, very astute.

I can't understand why no one else has thought of, what is surely self evident. We shall follow the MKD mode and re-appoint.........................
