Burnham took the lead after 40 seconds through Charlie Kirby, with the equaliser after 3 minutes through Clarke-Harris - assist by Spicer.

Really enjoyed the game. Bentley made three excellent 2nd half saves which probably won us the game. Great noise from the Burnham lot - real football supporters! Dont know who he is, but thought our No 4 and Dave Martin were our best outfield players.

enjoyable game, good noisy stuff from fair sized Burnham fans. Great goal to win it by Clarke-Harris. Benyon looks awful whatever standard he plays at

Benyon was ok, but ineffective. Phillips was solid enough, Martin played well as did #4 and Clarke-Harris at points.

Bentley made some good saves, including one which shifted from a potential 3-3 to the 4-2 win.

Real football supporters ?? I don't know about that. Burnham are averaging just a fraction over 40 for their home games. Most of these "real supporters" haven't set foot inside Leslie Field this season. Good turn out nevertheless and a good game with the score flattering us.

Would like to see him given a go against Stockport, even though I won't be there to see it

Fair play to them bring a coach down but I wouldnt go that far as 99% where managers, Dads of the kids teams, players from the ressy side and the guy who runs the bar

Personally thought we was lucky and the score line flattered us. loved the fact the number 2 for Burnham (charlie) managed to really get to Martin which should of seen him sent off. I can see Burnham getting promoted this season of the ESL if they carry on playing last night and the other games I have managed to catch

Apart from the two goals, one a cracker from what I've heard, how did Clarke-Harris play? The lad came here to get games and all he has had are three cameo appearances of three, seven and five minutes, for which he hasn't exactly got rave reviews. Could his performance last night be sending a message to Luggy, that he is perhaps a little p*****d off being used just at the fag end of matches and that he has something to offer?

I thought Benyon's meaningful contribution to the game was just about zero. An opportunity for him to stake a claim for a Cup place passed him by completely.

Enjoyed the game last night. It made a change to see a bit of a decent game and some 1st team squad get some minutes under their belt (Phillips, Spicer, Martin, Benyon, Clarke-Harris and later Corr). Felt Eastwood should have been there as well really. Good to see Burnham brought a few fans with them, even if they were annoying.

Sour note: The numpty on the gate who wasn't letting adults in through the turnstile on the right despite there being no sign saying it was children only (and there not been any trying to get in). Allegedly, he could count to £1 but not £2.
