Fantastic effort, well done Blue Army:smile: but what is the car park like? Being disabled I can’t risk falling over on that slope? Many of the faithful are ambulant like me, parking and walking to the ground is a big issue!

Agreed. This has been my issue all along.

Feel for the Walsall fans as well. They can't even come by train easily.

I usually park in Prittlewell Park will that be open? Sometimes I’ve used Nelson Road, I’d appreciate a heads up on what condition the areas are like for parking cheers:smile:

Ok no trains from Rayleigh, bus replacement only at present.
Anyone know if the civic centre car park is open?
Is there much snow on the ground in the town?

I'm determined to get to the game if it's on.
Thanks

Direct link to car park and charges here. http://www.southend.gov.uk/directory_record/352/civic_centre. It doesn't say it's closed on there. But can't guarantee that.
The snow around the ground varies, probably the same as where you are. Main roads are good, some side roads bad. The snow on the pavement is starting to slush up, although still frozen some places. So sensible foot wear is called for.

well done to all who have helped clear the pitch. a great effort. we are season ticket holders and we will be down early as we signed up to collect outside the ground for Prostrate UK. our best mate just diagnosed in the last 4 months and had operation and doing well.please donate even if it is just your loose change. bluearmy!!!!!

What an absolute stroke of masterclass from Ron if we win this game.

Spoken with one who is well prepared and coming over to C2C at West Ham - it's not THAT difficult.

Just checked and the way to The Spread is clear, so game on! :winking:

Let’s hope all this negativity from their fans etc will play in our favour and we spank them.

E-I-E-I-E-I-O .................. perhaps a bit premature. Can't help wondering if the 90 minutes this afternoon will be a bit of an after thought now that we are on Page 21 of comments.

Anyone know how training has gone this week?

I would start with Fortune. Biggest changes might be on the bench.
