Yes, Hartlepool are a well drilled team. Their defence is solid with five across the back, their strikers and midfielders press hard and high. They're quite physical too.

Aside from Morton, didn't see why those midfielders were chosen and feels the same at half time. Missed if Coker/Forson are ill/injured, but dying for some creativity there.

Honestly one of the worst halves of football I've seen since Chester away in 1999, and that is the worst game I've ever seen in my lifetime. Abysmal.

Well…need Bonne up top to provide some physicality and aerial threat (not to mention nouse). Both Pepple and Walker would I suspect like to partner Bonne but not each other.

Anyway no one to get on the end of anything in the air whether crosses or balls forward. No doubt we will have to wait until the compulsory 60 mins to see changes..

The trouble with Maher is he is too slow to make a change? If it`s not working you need to try something different. We need a spark from someone in midfield, to spot a run from someone, have a go? They are well organised at the back, but don`t keep doing the same thing and be happy with a 0-0 Maherball bore draw. Commentators saying players make and run and then stop, if the run doesn`t work, come back and look to make another run, keep giving the defenders a problem and keep making those runs. I would try Kendall alongside Bim at the start of the second half. Maher won`t make any changes until his 65th minute has come?
