i actually agree with you for once

Yes we do need a target man, or, we just change the tactics to fit the type of strikers our squad contains.

If we don't have the required player then don't play the sodding style. It's not rocket science. Stop trying to shoe-horn players into your way of playing, and instead shape your tactics and style around the players we DO have. Play to their strengths. It's really not difficult.

1-1 a fair result today. We paid the price for giving them the ball in the first half. Sloppy passing and a real mix up at the back for their goal. Much improved after HT and got a goal despite hardly any shots actually taken. Noteable camoes from Pigott and Worrall. Improvement needed from Leonard and Hurst who both looked a little rusty especially in the first half. Credit to Brown for making agressive subs, probably won us the game.A good point against a good team a long way from home.

Listening to commentary we were far the better team first half, then they were better 2nd half until we made the subs.

Not sure why Worrall didnt start, that was an odd decision if he was fit.

I loved the comment from Paul Clarke about Lyle Della Verde. When he fluffed a cross Clarke reckoned that he couldn't cross a street. A way with words has Mr Clarke.

I couldnt disagree with this more. We worked the goalkeeper once in the first half and Hurst, Leonard, Wordsworth and Bolger all looked off the pace. Fleetwood cut through us with 1-2s on a number of occasions.
