Got to go and do birthday stuff now. Come on Blues, surprise me nicely please when I come back on here.

HT - Great first half performance for Southend, could have / should have more than the 2 goals, but typically in true Southend fashion, that is the complete nail biting emotional roller coaster that comes along with supporting our club, they grab one back against all the odds and suddenly they knock the wind out of sails.

Just hope, we enter the 2nd half with the same aggression and positive play as we did from the kick off.

UTB

Need to keep Leon Clarke shackled, he is a better player than when with us.
Pope is also dangerous but on the bench for Bury.
Hopefully, Payne will give P Clarke the runaround tonight!
Sounded like a route one goal, hopefully Mooney will score tonight.

For those that don't know, if you stick SSNews on, they have a reporter at the Hall and they are showing the goals as they go in.

The first was a goal from a poacher. Overhead kick into the net, where others would have just laid it back to someone.

Quality performance by us, by the sound of things.

Switching a midfielder for a striker.. sounds like Bury are going for it, thats hope we can deal with it & gain some ground on the midfield. and build back on our dominance of the 1st half.
