What a strange half of football - for 45 mins we were by far the better side, but for 40 of them despite loads of crosses and corners we couldn't create a clear chance, infact I'd go as far as say Alty probably had 2 or 3 better chances than us (and they only had 2 or 3 chances). But the last 5 mins something clicked and we started getting shots on target.

Hope we can keep the intensity up second half because at the moment Alty don't have an answer - id imagine they'll change things at half time?

How do you know the tactics are to fanny about with it in midfield and then gift the ball to the opposition... or to over play it down the wing?

Maybe the tactics are more akin to what have given us 2 goals and Kev & co we're as frustrated as the rest of us.

Cav will take the pelters for the obvious error but it’s also obvious his head doesn’t drop. Within minutes, he’s beating a player and opening up an opportunity. Lots of credit in the bank. And it’s great he’s keeping his confidence despite the couple of recent dropped rickets. For me, a minor crisis but still one of the most effective players on the pitch.

Actually this is a big thing- for example Wes was on the bench Sat and is full of beans tonight- we had been running players into the ground. Cards will have benefited from coming off after an hour too.
