I haven't a clue what to expect from the team this Saturday. I know what I would like to see, which is the speed and effort of the Charlton game, but too often when the previous performance has been good, the follow up is a bit 'after the Lord Mayor's show''. So I will be there with an open mind, and even a scruffy 1-0 win will be very welcome to keep the League run and clean sheets going.

Jeacock will start this one. I think for a few reasons a rest will do collin a lot of good and give him time to regain composure, confidence and some self belief again. He's had huge exposure to first team football for a young keeper, and it will give him time to take in everything he's experienced and be even better for it.
Jeacock is very confident and loudly verbal which will instill some confidence at the back.. In addition he deals with crosses very well obviously helped by his size which counts for a lot.

Jeacock to start in goal. As much as I like Collin the poor kid needs a break.
Gus - Taylor - Crowther - Ralph - Bridge (if Bridge not fit, Ralph at LWB and bring in Gubbins)
Morton - Coker - Husin (none deserve to be dropped after last Sat)
Bonne - Pepple (to me the two strikers who have linked best and tbh I don't care how many Bonne scores if we are winning and he's pulling his weight. Last few games he's earned his place in my opinion).

That leaves a bench of - Moncur, KAF, Miley, Waldron, Gubbins, Walker and Collin. That really isn't bad!
Score prediction - 3-0 Southend. I just hope we take the good feeling from last week and give the boys some excellent backing and 'put on a show' as the chant goes.

It's actually ridiculous when you look at the bench and think how far we've come when we had 12 players in the squad. Moncur, Miley and Walker would normally start for most sides. I honestly think this group could start to surge up the table now we have everyone available.

it's not just the availability, it's also the lack of Sat - Tues - Sat - Tues now which is helping recovery

With that list of players at our disposal we should settle for nothing less than a win, that Bench would walk into nearly every side in this league and certainly Yeovils

It now looks pretty certain that Joe Gubbins is a non starter. That being so the back 3 will be Taylor, Crowther and Ralph. Other than that it's not impossible that Cav will start given Maher's pre match update. That in turn will start the Cav v Morton debate, or both start and Noor gets a splintered bum instead. The possibilities on the bench are so welcome. I thought that Danny Waldron looked pretty decent when he came on last Saturday, and we already know that Walker is on the money at the moment.
