With Reid looking to split the two central defenders in a back four, as TSNB said, therefore three centre backs would seem the best counter to that type of threat.

So I would go 3-5-2

Taylor - Goodliffe- Ralph

Gus and Bridge at wingbacks

Husin, Coker and KAF in midfield.

Ideally I'd start as we did on Monday with Kendall if fit and Hopper up front.

Hopefully we can play on the front foot against a team who have to be a bit more open that most.

I am hoping Daggers get some sort of result at home to Alty, not just for us, but to make Wealdstone go into the game knowing that anything but a win leaves them in the bottom four, meaning they have to come out and play. I feel we play better in that scenario, than having to break a team down that are packing the defence and asking us to make the play and break them down all the time.
It’s a dilemma, Hopper, Bonne or even Walker. I’d definitely start Kendall. I’d maybe be tempted to give Bonne 60 mins or so. He’s the ‘hungrier’ option and would be up for it.

Hopper is the work horse of the 3. He draws defenders out of the game which provides space for others. He also makes the ball stick to him when it is delivered properly, rather that 100ft up at speed. He's not going to score a lot of goals but he does some very decent work up front which largely goes unnoticed.

Agreed so maybe more effective off the bench? I’ll leave it to Kev 😆

Subject to injuries think KM will likely keep to same side that started against Ebbsfleet cant see him making any changes. We looked solid in defence we cant give any space to Wealdstone to exploit ideally a clean sheet will be a bonus

I thought that was bonne?

Great that for our last home match we still have a chance at the play-offs in our own hands (of course will be stressful), we have the luxury of team selection dilemmas but best of all, whatever the outcome, our club is in safe hands for next season, we are staying at Roots Hall and have a loyal management team and players who care about the club. That's enough for me !

Sean Clohessy is the SUEPA match guest for this one, it will be an emotional day as he will be present for the unveiling of the two benches re our Bench for Barks campaign - Sean of course was a teammate of Chris's.

He will be with his wife and two young children.

A top pro for us at a difficult time in the Luggy era, over 150 apps and a virtual ever-present in three seasons, be sure to give him a top welcome as he gets introduced on the pitch just before KO.

Yes, just wanted to make highlight this. I think Hopper has been a great signing.

Disagree. He defends the odd corner.
He looks like he is running through treacle.
Needs 14 touches to control a pass.
Doesn't score.
Wins the occasional tussle in the air.
Doesn't assist.
Does attempt to press....slowly.
I appreciate the effort but given the choice and I say this with a heavy heart I'd pick bonne over him.

Different needs at different times it seems to me. Obviously you've watched Hopper from the front row of the South Stand lower? :Winking:
