Really looking forward to this game, and optimistic of a strong performance and good result.... but am I the only one feeling ever so slightly nervous in view of Sittingbourne's 27 match unbeaten run....
?
They are a few steps below (Isthmian South) us and part time, hopefully we take this game seriously, which i am sure we will and we should beat them comfortably, but they will be up for the game. It's a great opportunity for us to get to the quarter finals.

I hope i don't have to eat those words later. :Whistling:

We need to take them seriously fellow Shrimpers, otherwise we may have a repeat of Aylesbury, and Kingstonian ! Quack Quack😂

I definitely think we will be well aware that these can pose a threat, it's cup football and anything can happen, we've come unstuck before, but like others have pointed out if we start like the last 2 games, and take our chances, we should be fine, if it's 0-0 late on it could get a bit nervy, plus going straight to penalties is of course then a Lottery

I don't usually get very interested in this competition. Was at Brentwood and southport games.

This game does feel like a cup tie though and like Wembley is on the horizon.

i’d keep the same side from Tuesday night but with maybe Wind for GSM and Hopper for Bonne if Bonne isn’t fit

I really don’t need the agg if we lose to a team 3 divisions below us so please Kev take it seriously

There's a name forever associated with The World Aquatic Security Patrol (not sure if I have that right though).

Have we ever had a Troy play for Southend United?
He liked to man the Phones. Very keen on driving his boat into a Marina. He came on after 60 with the annoucer saying "anything can happen in the next 30 minutes"

Brentwood is technically the better side than Sittingbourne, as they play in a harder Ryman Division One North, where Sittingbourne is playing against most awful side in Division One south, Margate and Ramsgate aside, rest of them is far too easy.
