40 years married and putting family events before footy - get a grip fella !
Congratulations on your land mark and hope we can get our first win that you can then watch at your leisure.

Thanks mate. The irony is that I bought a now TV box so we could watch Game of thrones live and appear super cool to the kids. The original box went wrong (after GoT) and I got it exchanged and the new one had two Sky one day sports passes in it. I squirreled them away ready for when the blues may be on, and now they are I will still miss them.

This was my bad news day, shortly after the fixtures were announced and it was decided Sky were covering it. How long ago was it that we had TV for a League game (excluding Cup and play-off matches)? They go and choose the bloody weekend I'm working in Toulouse! My wife will provide me with match commentary from the home computer but the rare chance of seeing the Blues on live streaming goes out of the window. Not a happy bear.

Can an you not download sky go and watch it on the sly?

Thanks for the idea. It does encounter one or two problems:- 1)We haven't got Sky (Doubt whether they would be too happy with the site I would have been watching it from). 2) I have a portable (mobile)..........but it ain't a very 'smart' phone...........strange though it may seem in this modern age, I actually use it for phoning people! :winking:

Like a few others on here, I am going to go for one change from Monday - McLaughlin for Atkinson. If Hurst and Bolger are fit enough for selection (as Chris Phillips has tweeted), the bench on Saturday could also be interesting. From Monday's night squad, Weston is the only outfield player missing so Deegan/O'Neill/Bolger/Hurst could all potentially be battling for the one additional spot on the bench. Alternatively, PB may drop someone from the squad and my gut feeling is it could be Prosser for either O'Neill/Bolger. It's fantastic having so many options but over a longer period, it will become obvious what PB considers the main bulk of his squad. Deegan has already been completely omitted from 2 matchday squads - a couple more and he may be wondering when his chance will come. Would also be interesting to see if PB names Bexon as back-up GK to give him some 1st XI experience - we could be in enviable position of having 3 proven/promising young keepers.

Toughy this one, Historical stats are: Won 20 / Drawn 7 / Lost 22. That being said, we have to go back to 1999 since they last beat us at Roots Hall, and that was a gritty 1-0 loss.

Im opting for a 1-0 lead at half time, and a 2-1 win at the final whistle.

UTB

Sadly (or annoyingly) I miss the next two matches due to holiday in Cornwall.

Despite Maroon Blue's assurances that I could still get to both if I timed my journey a bit different, a clout with a rolling pin from Mrs shallow soon made me see otherwise.

Just hoping for wins in both games.

COYB

Im only off to Cromer for the week, not too far away. Mrs Maroon would clout me with a rolling pin if I suggested missing the games

I hope we only make one change, McLaughlin in for Atkinson, as we have to try and cause Peterborough back 4 problem and pin them back until we score!

It's not end of the world if we don't win, we have to keep performing well until we get the monkey off our back!

hmmmmmm your right its not the end of the world if we don't win, BUT performances don't get you points. We could play well all season and still go down if the points aren't on the board. I'm by no means panicking as I think we will turn it around but I don't like this saying about at least we're playing well.

Reminds me of the Sturrock era where people were moaning even when we were winning but saying it was entertaining!
