What was the crowds reaction towards him when he get the red? How about Sturrock too how did he act with him?

I'm at the game and have read none of the other posts , so apoogies if this is a repeat of anyones post.
Mohsni was playing well and the ref clearly wanted to make a name for himself.
The tackle had no malice in it and was just mistimed.
Yellow at very worst.
So before you anti-Mohsni lot kick off - think again.
While I'm at it , Straker is playing well.

Hopefully the clown Mohsni is at the airport before the players get in at half time. He has taken his revenge on a club that stood by him when he should have been sacked long ago.
Hope Sturrock says sorry for his worst decision since joining the club.
Injuries slaughtered us yes but Mohsni has killed our season and Wembley dream in 26 mins. I called him a clown but clowns makes us laugh not despair.
At least now we can get rid of the idiot.

Am I the only one who in a strange kind of way actually finds this quite amusing. Will wait to see it on the highlights to see if it gets anywhere near Sada N'Dyae's challenge at Brentford all those years back.

No, you're not. Only just heard about the card on Final Score, they said it was Bil but not why. I guess straight red violent conduct, lo and behold, Bil's shown us his Karate Kid impression. Prat.

Sturrock's doing as good as he can, but idiots like this aren't helping.

I'm not at the game so I can't comment on whether it was a deserved red or not but how is the ref 'making a name for himself' by sending Bilel off? A league 2 sending off is hardly going to be making headlines tomorrow.

I actually feel sorry for Bilel. It wasn't a malicious tackle, the ball just bounced up a bit and he missed it. It wasn't intentional, another ref could well have just booked him. Shame because he'd been head and shoulders above anyone else on the pitch until then.
From what I heard I agree with you, I think it was over enthusiasm rather than being malicious...........but according to the commentators a nailed on red card. I think this was one worry behind my fear of him playing with lack of match practice. I am very worried about the future now, not just the liklihood of losing three points today

Dangerous play is dangerous play, doesn't matter if it was intentional or not. It's not that Mohsni is violent, it's that his decision making process is appalling.

Anyway enough about that, it's only 0-1 we can still get something from this. Come on Southend! Come on Freddy!

Poor old Bilel. "Why always me? ".

Lets give him another chance then :dim:
