Hopefully Corr can step up as a CB on Wednesday, the news he can play at the back definitely gives me more hope of us getting to the JPT final than the news of Bilel returning did.

The only ray of hope is Borient were up 1-0 and now lost 2-1 to Hartlepool. hopefully they can carry that form through to our game with them.

Gutting defeat, but whatever the circumstances losing to Northampton at home is terrible, they hav the 2nd worst away record in league 2.

Personally think that the final nail in our top 3 coffin, and I can't see us making the playoffs with our injury list.

Have to go all out Wednesday night now, it's all we have left.

Sounds like we played ok for 10 Men ...

I agree never easy been a Shrimper but hey that why we Love our Club ... **** Man u I say

Happy days, Pub time :-)

4 points off the play-offs now and sinking fast.

Totally depressing time to be a Southend fan. A win on Weds will help lift the mood. But can you honestly see it at the moment?

Always easy with hindsight ............I wish we'd started with Corr at centre-back. From what I've heard two defeats against two rather poor teams (especially Northampton)........................all rather sad and very depressing. Even more so that quite a few promotion contenders blew it today..........defeats for Bradford, Port Vale, Fleetwood and a draw for Cheltenham.

Heartbreak..............concede in the last minute........could Smith have come for the cross? 1-2

Could have should have on more than one occasion today but nobody is bold enough to say anything against him. I walked to the south lower after the second goal and everyone was having a moan ab out Smith. Now I'm sorry, I don't care what the namby pambys think on here, Smith is not good enough. One good game against Brentford doesn't make him good.

Funny, but April fools is 6 weeks away.

Unlucky for Mohsni, I feel. Both had feet up but Mohsni was the one who connected. Not malicious, not a rush of blood lunge, just one of those things. If it was Cresswell, it was would have been same result. Agree with those that say we should appeal the card and, assuming the hearing is not before Wednesday, Mohsni will be available.

Could have got the draw, if Smith had had a game like the last 3 or 4. But he didn't.

We didn't implode. We were looking the more likely to win the game.

Yes were 4 points off the playoffs but were only 6 points off the auto's with a game in hand. We have players to come back from injury. This season is far from over.

And one bad game, now suddenly he is not good enough. Recently, as in the last several games, he has been the reason we haven't been destroyed and even won a few games. Of course it's Smith's fault that we have about 7 first teamers missing and are so desperate that we had to get Mohsni back.

Yes smith could of been more dominate aerial today. But to say he is not good enough is laughable the last month or so he been playin out his skin.
