The problem is we have some teams that are / seem to be front runners, we are losing to or drawing with teams that should not be in the running even at this point of the season. So do we go with the flow and hope or look to add some strength where we seem to be short in the loan window?

Northampton's position reminds me of morcombe at home home last year when they were sitting rather low down yet we lost!

We should never have thrown it away and mohsni is a lose cannon! Kicking corner flags and nets, punching the ground to the extent that he was holding his hand.

Someone needs to sort him out. Cracking goals though !

thought the officials were awful at times today, they never helped and as for the linesman down in the east stand blues was one of the worst ive seen, shocking.

gutted to lose two goal lead but as usual complete over rection on here we are three points from 1st spot chill out peeps its a long season

I really don't know how we haven't come away with 3 points today.

We scored two outstanding goals. Mohsni's goal was out of nowhere, best goal I've seen at Roots Hall for a long time. To be fair, Akinfenwa (Who is the most overweight football player I've ever seen) scored a fantastic, unstopable goal himself. My view for the 2nd goal wasn't great so i'm not sure who was to blame but it looked very scrappy to me.

We had some great chances which we seriously should have put away, Hall's chance in the 2nd half where he hit the side netting when it was easier to hit the target with the goal at his mercy being the best.

Oh well, despite being a little gutted we didn't get the win, I was very happy with the performance. We looked so much better today as we were actualy passing the ball around on the floor for a change.

Onwards and upwards, we move on to the next game.

i agree we should have had 3 points but it is a long season and i would rather us stick with the pack and just keep getting points under our belts because if we peak too early on in the season we may fade away.
But if we keep those performances up and just convert the chances i am not worried about the season ahead :)

UTB!!!

I've not been to any games this season yet, but I dont hear much about Grant...is his heart in it anymore?

Grant was superb today, 100% passion and commitment, all over the pitch. Ferdinand was top notch too. Very promising mid-field pairing.

Thats the issue we should be winning at home, we can't expect to win on the road all the time. When I was a kid it was win at home or draw away. So far we seem to be doing the reverse which I'm guessing will not continue.

We can't expect to win on the road all the time but we can't expect to win every home game either. We dropped two points. It happens. I doubt it's the first time you've seen us slip up at home.
