Official Match Thread Southend United V MK Dons

I can fully understand why you feel the way you do, i feel exactly the same, except, i am and always will be a supporter of Southend United the football team, i will continue to support the team, i will continue to purchase my season ticket in order to watch the team play football, i will never miss a game if i can help it, i will not allow RM or his board take away my pleasure. So while we still have a team i urge everyone to get out there and support them. UTB.

Bang on, BB ! I am feeling very proud of how this (small) group of players are conducting a heroic campaign amidst adversity. In many ways, our fans are representative of this spirit too. Though we've had some 'glory years' recently, there's a few thousand who've experienced the really bad times too, and who remain staunch through it all. I think Swiss Tony said it right in another context recently - 'real club, real supporters'

God were we lucky, you have no chance now, you have problems, Tranmere away, Charlton away, in the middle you have Norwich. These were statements made to me in a pub last night and then, yep, then repeated to me by a 'sober' prat this morning. Are we really bad? did i dream Friday night? Look we beat MK, they are/were up there with the big boys, after last night are we not capable of being up there at the end of the season? By the way, the prat who gave me the 'speel' is on here right now, he is always on here, he is addicted to on here (when he is sober). UTB WE ARE GOING FOR IT BIG TIME. not sure what, but we are going for it. UTB IN TILLY & BRUSH WE TRUST.

The same was said last year after the home defeat against Crewe, people looked at the next three games, and said we wouldn't get a point and would be facing a relegation battle. Those three games were Col Ewe, Peterborough & Scunthorpe, 3 wins, what do football fans know?
