I don't think he cares, Brown will get a pay off if he is sacked...can then concentrate on his media and other stuff he craves.

Brown's ego demands that he is a manager of a club. He still needs Southend and he needs to be seen as successful.

I just can't see past another defeat the way things have been going

worked out the other day that in the 5 league games Ted has played we have conceded 14 goals so thats just under three a game! so having said that, i'm going to say SUFC 0-3 Millwall.

I am more than happy to be proven wrong!

BBC Essex Sport just tweeted that there is no deal for Fortuné ahead of tomorrow's game

It's getting stupid right now, one minutes we was in talk with him, then we changed our mind. He might be 35, but he a perfect foil for Cox, as Mooney up front mean the ball keep coming back at our defender as Mooney keep getting brushed aside too easily.

Could those attending the game in the East Stand have a look at Nile and how mobile he is?

Perhaps even risk asking him how the training is going? Such information would be greatly received by all I think.

Looking at all of these line-up predictions just makes you think, we must have the slowest side in the league.

Other than McGlashan I wouldn't describe any as quick, Lenny isn't slow but I wouldn't describe him as quick.
WRONG! Leonard is extremely quick. If you Ve not really watched him, just remember our embarrassed defence(Barrett,Prosser,White)when he was injured.

Fate has a habit of turning up a winning Southend performance when you least expect it. In fact the more depressed, downcast or cynical SZ posers are before a game, the more chance there is of a good performance.......... I hear voices in my head sometimes.

last season Millwall bullied SEND at roots hall. need to be tough , prob is not many are. Hope I am wrong and SEND can overcome (if Mooney plays he must try to stay on his feet, not looking for cheap free kicks all the time)

Quick maybe, extremely quick no. In our side he is one of the quickest, but those three may well have been terrified as Barrett lacked pace at his peak, let alone now, and neither Prosser nor White are anywhere near quick, just watch how many times White gets left for dead by wingers.
