So the day has arrived when we face our 3rd cup final and another one in front of a large crowd. This time at home. I find myself in South Moravia (part of the Czech Republic) on a wine tasting trip. Luckily Blues Player will be my savior as it has been most match days.... But to be more honest I'm less nervous than the previous 2 matches. I'm not going get that complacent feeling though... It'll be a tough match with a lot to play for. For both teams...

UTB!

Just chatting and musing about today.

So, there are 2,500 Luton fans coming down and one pub they are allowed in!

Is the seafront closed then? I would guess a few would leave Looten about 10, head down the A127 in their Cavaliers and Astras, spend a few hours on the Prom and make their way to The Hall about 14.30 with their tickets and some without.

I guess it will depend how much they already know and the geography of the town in relation to the ground.

Most people just head for the ground and disperse into the surrounding area on foot, I would imagine.

Gutteridge will forever be remembered for that last minute winner at home to Blackpool!

For some reason, I can't stop thinking about that crucial penultimate game of the season against Yeovil in front of a sell out 11,735 crowd at Roots Hall, where the 1-0 defeat all but condemned us to the playoffs.....

Groundhog day, or Setting the Record Straight?

:stunned:

In the High Street and asked by Luton fans for directions to the Old Trout pub. Unfortunately one of them knew the area a bit and when I tried sending them to the Cliff pub he was not best pleased.

Can't win them all but hopefully we can do it today.

You can't beat a quick one in the Old Trout before the game!

An early Blues goal would settle the nerves.

please win. It would be typical Southend to blow it this late
