I'm expecting a good reaction after Luggy's comments from Saturday.

Scrappy 2-1 victory, Harris to notch first - I think we'd all settle for that

Dickinson is still suspended tonight (last game of a 3 match ban) so whatever state his ankle is in, he won't be playing tonight!

The OP was talking about the Plymouth game and said Dickinson possibly back then.

I would take an ugly 1-0 win tonight, be it a penalty or a bundled over the line effort. Just something for the lads to build on. As we know hopefully LD is back at the weekend and NH must be close to a return. Plus we're starting to come out of this tough spell of fixtures so hopefully can hit some form against some of the weaker sides in the league.

Its only a ban which is keeping him out is it not? If it is that reason he'll be one of the first names on the team sheet on Sat

Yeah I thought he was just suspended for 3 games which should be completed tonight. But other posters have mentioned an ankle injury. Whether there's any truth in that I don't know. It might just be people assuming he's injured as he hasn't played recently when in reality it was due to suspension!

I think the staring line up will be

Morris

Clohessy.. Phillips.. Barker.. Prosser

Grant Kalala/Ferdinand Timlin

Leonard......... .. .............Hall

........... .Sturrock/Harris

If Harris is passed fit I would expect to see Sturrock on the right instead of Leonard.

I'd love to see Sturrock score tonight - mind you he could notch a hat trick and the hate brigade still would find fault. Did anyone mention he was a Southend player?

Heart says Harris comes on to knick a deserved late winner along with a good performance from the team to set us nicely up to smash Plymouth on Sat.

Head says we lose 1-0 in a dissapointing home display. Awful hoofball and Blair sums up the display when passing the ball backwards after being put through on goal with an open net

Given Luggy's promise to make changes I am going to go for:

--------------Morris--------------

Clohessy Phillips Mohsni Barker

------------JP Kalala-------------

-----Grant---------Timlin--------

Sturrock----Harris-----Hall-----

Subs: Bentley, Prosser, Gilbert, Johnson, Leonard

Score: 1-1 (Phillips)

Crowd a disappointing 4,678 (300 from Gilliingham)

I think the crowd will be pretty poor tonight after Saturday's defeat and the Champions League starting tonight. And people are back at school/uni etc. Will probably be around the 4000 mark.

Like Westy, my heart and head say different things. Heart says Sturrock will have given them a kick up the jacksy after Saturday and they'll respond with a good performance and win tonight. But my head asks where are the goals going to come from (especially if Harris isn't fit) and Gillingham have some good players. My predictions are usually off the mark anyway so I'll go for 1-0 Gills. My team would be:

Morris

Clohessy - Phillips - Barker - Prosser

Leonard - Grant - Timlin - Hall

Sturrock - Harris/Mohsni/Johnson (Harris if he's fit, Mohsni if Harris isn't and he is, Johnson if neither of them are)

Subs: Bentley, Gilbert, Kalala, Ferdinand, Crawford/Johnson
