We are on a hiding to nothing today. Win and it's still Maher out. Lose or draw and the knives will sharpen. Probably the same at Braintree. Only a really convincing pounding is going to lighten the mood and we don't tend to do that....

Probably a bit late to ask, but what is the best way to get something announced over the tannoy at half-time? Anyone got a direct line to the announcer? I can PM you if so.

Fingers crossed, one of my favourite games was a Boxing Day game. When we played Rushden and Diamonds 0-2 down at half time and we came back to win 4-2 a brace for Belgrave, Leon Cort and Tes Bramble with the others.
Just goes to show... if Barrington Belgrave could score 2 goals in one half of a match (let alone a whole match), anything is possible.

Morton is probably our only midfielder that can dictate the tempo from deep , Morton , KAF , Coker should be our midfield 3 and it shouldn’t really be a debate

I mean as in if both are selected. Morton should start, agreed.

Yep looks like it - whether it beats our best overall attendance of the season remains to be seen and will depend on sales this morning and walk ups this afternoon. For reference, the two biggest gates this season so far:

Dagenham (league) - 8,495 (758 away fans)
Charlton (cup) - 8,875 (1391 away fans)
Ebbsfleet now sold over 500 ticket, credit to them for turning up 👏🏻

I agree, as we need energy in midfield, to do the hard crafts and to support our forward and help to create chances.

Fish and chips top notch as always, decent pint in the Far Post too.

Now for some football to match please! Starting for me:
Collin
Wind, Taylor, Golding, Ralph
Coker, Morton, KAF
Kendall, Pepple, Walker

I'd like to see Jeacock, Gubbins/Golding, KAF and Kendall starting for this one. If nothing else but to shake things up a little from the recent below par displays.
