Given that we had more chances in the last 5 minutes than the rest of the match combined I don't see what was wrong with the subs. We were getting overrun in midfield and a change of formation went a long way to fixing that.

Sorry but that's nonsense, Wordsworth usually looks hopeless at the defensive side of the game but he got stuck in today (unlike Wright in the first half) and made plenty of tackles which meant we were actually able to start moves that weren't long balls from the back. He made some nice passes as well.
