Yep, I've been getting emails twice to the same address recently!

I seem to be receiving everything four times. A few months back I emailed the club to ask them to investigate this and didn't receive even a reply.

Not uncommon, I think. Same experience on other matters/emails sent in the past. RM later enquired through Mc Scriven why emails seem to be going astray/not dealt with. No real answer save could not be explained !!

I work in Sales & Marketing for an IT company. To sort this isnt hard work. maybe someone should ring the club and have a moan as the emails are being ignored.

Is it worth Cricko trying to talk to them, so they can annoying loyal fans!!

I get several copies of emails. Some seem to be using my first initial, possibly as a result of bookings I've made through the box office and others use my full name. I've learned to live with it really and Gmail usually does a decent job of at least keeping them in one conversation. It's still a little annoying when I search for anything Southend related and come up with about 4 times as many results as I should do!

I have had 4 emails in 24 hrs titled "STANDING UP" and it comes from Mark.Davies@ccfc.co.uk is that someone from Coventry City or Chester City ?

I got that mail but the content is the Blues Insider...so I guess it must be legit.I have mentioned to the club about multi mails being sent out and apparently it is because they have a new guy doing it and it is teething problems.

Perhaps Scriv can enlighten us ?

PM sent, but I'm sure Tilly has more important things to do with his time.

I Checked mine and the three, whilst all being sent to the same email address were to 3 different names , All My name but just in slightly different formats (Mr , Full Name, Initials etc)
It would appear that the Name and Address DB they are using is sorting and mailing based on the name (not the email address) and as I have registerd on the web site, registered for the Club card thing, have a season ticket and used various credit cards in the club shop, I would guess that i have a several entries on the system.

Perhaps a bit of housekeeping is in order ?
