Hmm, two players who deserve to be in the top three...
Barnard is a great goal-getter, being the only player to get over 10 goals, and being our top goal-scorer, but he had way too many injurys this season for a top-goal-scorer.
Barrett is a great captain, he scored against Chelsea at home and he played well this season, despite being put out on left back to create room for Dorian near the end of the season.
Mildenhall came in this year as replacement goal-keeper, and he was a great keeper for us, he made one of the best stops from a goalkeeper of his level (imo) to prevent Chelsea from scoring what would have been the winning goal at Stamford Bridge in the FA Cup, for that reason and for his great banter with the Southend fans, I vote Mildenhall!
