My Ratings:
Mildenhall 8: Made 2 or 3 fantastic saves and was faultless throughout.
Sankofa 7: Decent enough at the back and occasionally ventured forward.
Clarke 7: Solid enough and had an ongoing battle with Hoops in the first half.
Dervite 6.5: Again like Clarke, solid enough. Although I've noticed his concentration does sometimes drop, ala Francis, and he got very lucky with the mistake that let Hooper in on goal in the second half. He needs to say a big thank you to Mildenhall.
Barrett 6.5: The usual Barrett left back performance in that he offered nothing down the line going forward and got caught out of position on more than one occasion. That said, he wasn't up against an out and out wide player and so wasn't caused too many problems defensively.
Grant 7.5: A decent performance from him. He's got better there's no doubt about it.
McCormack 7: He gets bumped up to a 7 for scoring. There's still a lot lacking from his game and I still don't trust him in possession of the ball.
Christophe 6: He can be truly terrible with the ball at his feet and that was evident on more than one occasion last night. Did put in a couple of useful tackles though.
Moussa 5: I'm struggling to think of anything he contributed other than some ok set pieces and one shot in the first half. He never saw the ball and was never wide enough to be of any use to our breaks forward. A left winger Tilly and Moussa in the centre. Please?
Laurent 5: Barely did anything of note in his 25 minutes.
Robinson 7.5: He's coming in handy now we're becoming more and more a hit it and hope team as his pace will pressure the defenders. A nice finish for the goal, but just what was the keeper doing?
Subs:
Barnard 6: As I stated on another thread, just not the same player he once was at the moment. Moan, moan, moan, moan, moan. Concentrate on playing please, Lee!
Francis 5: The only real time the ball came to him and he tried to nutmeg the player, failed, and put us under pressure. He got a rollocking from the bench for that as well.
Scannell /: Was only on the pitch a couple of minutes, but gave it away in a dangerous area, probably owing to the fact he forgot he played for Southend given the last few months.
