Everyone battled very hard tonight.
Strike forces scores are about right, although I can't give anyone a 10, even if it is an ironical 10 !

Nothing else really, just the best feeling when you equalise in the 93rd minute, brilliant!

Coughlan absolute class

Barker also good

Corr had a real off day

Win tuesday and it will be 4 points from 2 home games, would definately have taken that before tonight

We played well think hall did better than h gave him he looked class with confidence

crowd were behind the team all game and we got the least we deserved

credit to ps for having the balls to put mohsni up top for the length of time he was up there

good signs

We worked hard in a game of very little quality. Bury I thought were very physical and got away with a fair bit. Really didn't understand why we played the formation we did it looked like grant was playing behind corr upfront with Blair sort of left midfieldish ! Thought at halftime it had 0:0 written all over it to be honest. And moshni up front when we are 1 down ! What was that about ! I know he scored but thought it was a bit of an embarrasment really and got to feel sorry for Crawford who was left on the bench. All in all a point was about right but it was a poor game with the ball mainly in the air. Oh and I would have sodje back compared to our 2 tonight !

Whatever ratings are given here I suspect none of us will have Hall down as m-o-m. Impressed with Coughlan, Ferdinand and to some extent Grant but frustrating at times when he had easy lay off options. My man of the match was Easton. That's the first full on 90'minute all round Captain and driving performance I've seen from him at home. Always shown periods in the past but tonight was superb. Frustrating second half and no way we'd have deserved to lose.

Is that the voodoo broken ?

For me, what it was about was getting Bilel on the pitch for fitness. He was clearly always going to come on as PS needs him fit. Given we were 1-0 down, PS thought (and who can blame him) 'Sod it, we need a goal, he'll give it everything he's got and he's physical enough to cause Bury problems - put him on up front and cross fingers, toes and gonads!!'... and it worked. Snaps for PS

SODJE MAN OF THE MATCH BY A LONG WAY the return of one of the halls legends, bossed the game from start to finish, oh how we could do with efe here, as captain, top man shame you didnt score

Nice to see Efe back, but i can't help feeling he blotted his copybook here spectaculally with the Hull shenanigans and his gift to Col Ewe 30 seconds into his last ever game for us

Mohsni is a bit of a loon isn't he ??

Good all round performance I thought, couldn't particularly fault any individual except maybe Corr's inability to finish. Having said that, he was putting himself about and having a good old battle with Efe for a while. I wasn't surprised about Hall's selection as MotM, thought he did very well, was instrumental in every forward move and another assist. Didn't quite see why he was taking free kicks in the first half from our left which would have been better suited to a right footed player to have a crack on goal. Liked Blair's positional play, looked quite effective playing wide, and agree with ORM about Easton, great game from the Skip tonight.

Easton - 8

Subs:
Sawyer for Ferdinand - 6, hmm recklessness still a bit of an issue then but promising runs forward, no-one used to him so didn't actually get the ball much
Bilel for Sturrock - 8, you really do have to love the guy, thought he was coming on for Barker or Coughlan at first and struggled to work out why! Great move to put him on to challenge their tall defenders
Crawford for Gilbert - 6, Harry, there was no need to challenge for headers when Mohsni was going for them!

TBV - 10, great stuff guys, much more sound from the front of the stand

Great to not lose, which I think was the main aim tonight. We had to break the run. Thought we played with a higher tempo and first half display was the best at home for a while.

Unusual off day for Barker and Grant in first 15 but he settled. Easton about the best on show, everyone else ok despite the odd blunder from pretty much each player at some point. But no-one had a mare and we all really worked hard.

Mohsni came on up top as he is ring rusty at the back and he just has to win every ball so puts the fear of God into the opposition. Draw about a fair result as both teams cancelled each other out a lot. Bury made it so hard for us with their strength and pressing and to equalise that late makes it feel like a win. Let's hope we can follow that up with 3 points on Tuesday.

Cheers Kay. In light of Luggy's comments we decided to move down the front, in the hope more could hear us and join in. Would be interested to hear if the east/south could hear us a bit more?

It worked didn't it? And Crawford WAS brought on and was not as effective as Mohsni up front, missing a decent chance! Mohsni won everything in the air and was more aware of those around him than Corr who really didn't play well. I'm very surprised that you felt embarrassed - most of the rest of us thought that it was a terrific tactical move at the right time.
In regard to Sawyer, I thought he looked very decent today considering that he hasn't played in the league for a while. We went to the player's exit and he came over to shake hands and pose for a picture with my boy. Welcome back Lee!

No worries Smiffy, credit where it's due, and it certainly worked.

First time I've done this little shindig in a while...

I could see the thinking behind adopting the 'away' formation at home and it did have some plus points, but for me, we should never leave Corr so isolated at home. We went through spells where it kept coming back due to the fact he had zero support. I've never seen Blair play so deep.

Cameron Belford was like the angry little man in Elf. A keeper smaller than Darryl, with a massive chip on his shoulder for some reason.

This team DESPERATELY needs some pace added to it. It's noticeable that every team that turns up at the Hall has at least two quick players, and they hit us on the counter. Every team. Fingers crossed we can add some in the next week.

Efe Sodje is still the defender with the 'thou shalt not pass mentality' and I can't help but wish we'd have had him here for longer.

Ratings:

Morris 7: Didn't really put a foot wrong, but his kicking could've been just slightly better. His throw into the Bury half in the second half was Schmeichel-esque....

Clohessy 6.5: Did well enough defensively, but struggled to get enough crosses into the box. A steady performance though.

Coughlan 7: At times the movement of Lowe caused him a few troubles, but on the whole it was a pretty decent performance from the ol' boy.

Barker 7: General steady performance from Barks without him ever really having to break sweat, such is the comfortable manner at which he can play at this level.

Gilbert 5: I'm sorry, he makes Scott Malone look capable. You're guaranteed two things with Gilbert - A) He'll hoof it forward every time it comes near him and B) He'll refuse to close the winger down until he gets into our box. The one time he got forward with any use, he set up Corr's missed chance. Other than that, he always looks like the weak link. His back header was truly schoolboy.

Ferdinand 6.5: I like him. He has that touch of class and ability about him, which is clearly why he's been thrust into the team at 17. He wasn't afraid to put a challenge in and at the same time he showed some lovely touches.

Easton 6.5: He never gave up, but he gives the ball away too often for me. Where as Maher rarely wasted a pass, Easton seems to panic too often in possession.

Grant 6.5: Not Granty's best game as he dallied in possession too often. Good energy and workrate as usual though.

Hall 6.5: Ability wise, he's always going to give teams something to think about, but as he lacks that extra yard of pace, he sometimes struggles to really hurt teams like he should. The same was true tonight. He gave them a tough time in flashes, but whenever they forced him wide and doubled up, he didn't know where to go as he couldn't run past them.

Sturrock 5.5: I thought Blair struggled in such a deep, wide role. There were flashes of his ability, but on the whole he didn't really influence the game from that position.

Corr 5.5: Not Barry's best game, but the lack of support was always going to hinder him. Missed that glaring chance, although he was slightly off balance and struggled for mobility after taking that whack in the second half.

Subs:

Sawyer 6: It was hard for him coming into the game when he did, but I thought he showed some promising signs. As per his previous spells, you just get that feeling that he's got the extra bit of ability compared to anyone else. He showed some nice touches and some good energy, but what a surprise, he got booked for a rash challenge. He's back alright!

Mohsni 7: What can you say!? He made a difference, because he wasn't just a centre half stuck up top, he actually had an awareness of where to flick the ball on to and where to position himself. You couldn't even tell he was a centre half. He needlessly got involved with Belford after the final whistle though.

Crawford /: Put himself about and created the diversion for the goal. As per Mohsni, needlessly made a point of getting involved with their angry, short arsed keeper.

special mention for the tbv section tonight you were ****ing brilliant, tried to get the other end of the west going keep up the good work
