I never thought the day would come when I would read about Southend United being in a European Cup Final. That's one to tick off the bucket list.

Just got text , sadly the boys won all their games this afternoon but lost in the final to Willem II , 5-2. This is a Dutch Premier teams acadamy and its the second year running they have won this cup . So well done boys another great performance in europe , :clap:

Ah-ha, but they couldn't beat the Supporters Club team during their infamous tour of Southern Holland in 1984!.......
 
There were a few from this squad that looked to have great potential, would be good if someone could update on the rest of this little lot.
 
What about LuckyLuca? Is he still with the youth team?

LuckyLuca is no longer associated with the blues. D.O.L.L told me that he linked up with Tractor Boys for a while and I think he is currently linked to Sudbury (Suffolk based). I am personally hoping he'll some day come home to the blues. If not I wish him well in his continued development.
