Southend quiz

Misc 6 is killing me - Johnson had a place at the top of Nobles Green Road in Eastwood which was regularly barricaded off and surrounded by press. Can I get half a point ?

Nobles Green Road is not far from Ron Pountney and which other legend ?

Heysel disaster..... wasn't Southend v Brentford the first game in this country after that event... hence 1st 2 minute silence??? remember being in the north bank for that, seeing scarves tied on the fencing.

Heysel question -

Didn't we have to cancel a pre-season European tour we had planned due to a blanket ban on English clubs playing in Europe?

Roeder question - was it David Webb?

Oh, I don't know about that, I just do the report. But you didn't say the picture, you just referred to the report and asked what match it was from.

Doh! sorry i meant the picture.
Just in case you wondered that looks like Brentford at the hall last year. Might have been a decent quiz question if I had typed it properly in the first place.

1) who said: "The supporters club is the greatest asset the club ever had" - certainly wasn't Vic Jobson...

4) which rugby team played at Roots Hall? Southend Invicta
Should be right...
1) right to say it wasn't.
2) nope
I think you're wrong there Naps - the official history does mention that rugby team...
Just rechecked, and there seems to be some confusion in the book. They mention Kent Invicta and Southend Invicta.

Not to mention all the visiting teams ? Sloppy question.
