Ok.... for the record, I was down for the game and no other reason. I was very disappointed about it being called off as were most peopl but I wasn't suicidle!! My good friend and old school pal asked me if he could run a story on my wasted journey as he didn't now have a game to report on for the paper, so I agreed to help a mate out. Chris Phillips also asked for an interview for the Echo but I was travelling back to Aberdeen and had decline (sorry Chris). Yes I'm sure other people have traveled further and probably will in the future. Oh and I stopped posting on here years ago because I found that posts became very repetertive and I moved on and for no other reason than that!! Jeeeez... Move on FFS! oh and the flag...... it was a tiny crappy little flag anyway. Now...... does that clarify things? Aberdeen Shrimper does not exist. Mods please delete account.
