Hello Shrimpers,
Although i have been a member here for a while - this is my first post.
I am the guy who won the chant comp.Thanks for all your comments - even the negative ones . The competion was launched early this year before Sir Doug started to pack up a bit (made me wonder if the chant was jinxed). Also it had to be an original chant in order for someone to claim it - that why it's almost unheard of.
The competition has re-launched for another round - so if you want to try to retain the award please feel free.
Finally before anyone asks i had to have a major procedure carried out hence my "slightly" mis-shapen features.
I hope that this clears up some of the issued raised here, & i'll try to contribute a bit more to this forum in the future.
PS If any one wants to see us & John Barnes performing the chant it's on you tube & various others.

The other entries must have been crap if he won. Still, he's only a kid, so congratulations. It's a bit cheesy and cliched. He doesn't score goals for fun, as he doesn't play regularly, and he's not blue through and through.
