Well the time has come chaps and chapesses,

I have decided to try a different view point at our stadia of dreams for the Northampton game and have brought tickets for the south upper block F row 2!

Now any south upper vets care to tell me what i have let myself in for? I have spent my whole life flitting from east greens to west block v,w, whats the atmospere like? have i brought restrictive leg room?

I am actually quite excited about the undoubted Wembleyesque views from up there!

cheers for the heads up

Great view from the South Upper, but even Douglas Bader would complain about how "cosy" it is up there

On my ST you dont get Row numbers its all letters?
What seat number

Personally love the South. Leg rooms isnt that bad and you cant fault the views etc.

I along with Kristof/Lucky Luca/ D.O.L.L./DtS and DoDtS are in South Upper F Row A.
Views are fine! Leg room is also ok. You'll be near to the corner flag but it gives you ample opportunity to shout abuse at opponent corner kickers or subs!

Slight edit ..

Block F row B seats 23 and 24, im assuming there is room to maybe move around if need be? Always looks spare seats up there from where i sit

Be sure to flick his ears when you get chance Kwak

Oh and ask him how he's getting on in the SZ Prediction League Spring Trophy :moon:

Don't know about flicking his ears he might have my legs on his shoulders if the legroom is that bad lol, I will report any home player slagging off from this section though back to the board for analysis !

Moved to south upper a few years back from west stand and great view but either im too fat or seats too small! Had pleasure of sitting next to ricey very nice guy despite what I read on here.

speaking from my experiences having sat in all four stands over the years, its easily the best view in the ground and normally a good atmosphere there too, just a shame the acoustics at RH are not great apart from the North Bank, and scott will defo say the best atmos is in the west but you honestly cant hear the other stands from the south

Well like i said in the original post, i have spent all my time supporting the shrimpers either in the North ( back in the day) , east greens, or in recent years west block v and w ( and Scotty i love the atmosphere in that section) , i have even watched one game in south lower ( never again)..
It will be strange moving from the west for the game but am looking forward to it also!

I like it in the South Upper, used to be good when you where able to walk round and sit up there from the West. It was also good when you could buy Season Tickets in the Family stand and then move to wherever you wanted, until they put those bloody barriers up.

I sit front row behind the goal, the view is brilliant and you can abuse the opposition close up.

Bit dangerous in the pre-match shooting at the goal exercise ---- ask Beermonster who got smashed in the face a good while ago.
