We have been saying for some time now that we have a very good youth set up. We lost quite a few young players to predatory premier and championship clubs.

I'm pleased that finally the you team is bearing some fruit. I'm not sure if it has as much to do with PB reducing squad size to maximise playing budget , but for these boys its a great opportunity.

I don't confess to watch the youth but Bedford and a few others seem to be the ones to watch.

Lets hope they do the business and have the same impact as Payne Bentley Smith etc.
 
So forgive me if I am wrong, but signing a Pro deal means he is a first team player and no longer going to be in the u21 which I think is a "Development" contract?

Well as long as he's still under the age of 21 he can play for the 21's which is essentially the modern day ressies
