Songs at your funeral

On the way in. George Formby - Thank You All For Coming and Goodbye

On the way out. Chris Rea - The Road to Hell

And on my headstone I want the Spike Milligan classic inscribed "See, told you I was ill"

'Don't Worry' by Appleton. The intro is beautiful and the opening line: "Don't worry 'cos I'll always be there with you" would add a poignantly reassuring touch.

As has already been pointed out, 'Going Underground' if it's a burial has to be the one.

Otherwise I've always fancied 'The Man Don't Give A f%&k' by The Super Furry Animals...."You know he don't give a f%&k about anybody else" (that should have featured in the best lyrics thread as well).

For years i said to the guys if i die can i have Wish you were here by Floyd played. Got with the old lady and its come up in conversation of course and now i'm like 'Enjoy the silence' by Depeche Mode.

No classical and no friggin Eva Cassidy for me.

#1 A Whiter Shade Of Pale ~ Procul Harum
#2 The Drugs Don't Work ~ The Verve
#3 Going Underground ~ The Jam
#4 Hurt ~ Johnny Cash
#5 Nothing Ever Last Forever ~ Echo & The Bunnymen
