Something big and dark...

Slipperduke

The Camden Cad
It really is very windy round here.

I have no idea what that was that just went past my frosted glass window, but it was about six foot. I do hope it wasn't the receptionist.

Is it every bit as apocalyptic where you are?

Its not that windy down here in Gloucester, and its actually sunny for once though I doubt that will last. f%cking hate the west country weather.

I spent my three years in Cornwall, so I know exactly what you mean. Horizontal rain is only ever funny once.

It rains everyday without fail, either in the during the day so I get wet or I wake up to see the ground soaking wet and puddles everywhere. Today is a wet ground day, although as I'm going out later it will rain then too.

22°c - blue skies - bright sunshine - now just why did I move here again?

I can confirm it is extremely windy in Canary Wharf.

I am hoping for some heavy rain because I enjoy watching people getting soaked while sprinting across Reuters plaza...

I was looking out of the window 10 minutes ago and saw someone get literally blown in the opposite direction to which they wanted to go, when walking through Cabot Square. I had to laugh

very very windy down by the airport... all the suspended ceiling tiles are rattling and getting lifted up

Concerning.
Was anyone still in the process of trying to open said door when it flew past your window?

Very gusty here in Eastwood (no not the player

) I've got a single 7' x 5' single window in my living room and on occasions it visibly 'wobbles' ..... very worrying as I have to leave for work soon

I hadn't noticed anything unusual but now you mention it, the Thames down the West-side appears to be flowing 'upwards' rather than its more conventional 'East'.

Until I see a tree blown over, everything's fine. Then again, I have to go and get lunch shortly

Where in Gloucester are you? I'm in the Forest of Dean and have been wondering if I should do a sweepstake on how long before the power lines and the tree outside my house blow down. Bloody awful round here.

Been snowing here most of the morning.
The distant hills of Ayrshire are now white out of my office window!

If you think the weather is windy down south today, welocme to my life for what seems like the past 3 months!

The wind is roaring apocalyptically around our building, although the skies are unexpectedly bright. The building itself has groaned slightly on its moorings...

No doors or people seen blowing through the air as yet, but I'll keep my eyes open for them...

Not a scooby where Forest of Dean is. I'm in Oxstalls, at least I think thats what the area is called.

I made a mistake earlier of going to the SU, a whole 8 yard away wearing flip flops, one blew away which was quite amusing.
